I'm finally trying to catch up on my blog from the Summer.
John and I had the opportunity to be "ma" & "pa" on our Church Pioneer Trek. We had great teens in our "family". They all really pitched in and helped and caught the vision of what this trek was all about. We all gained a stronger appreciation our pioneer ancestors and their strength to endure their trials. We hope to increase our strength to endure our trials with faith and trusting in God. We also enjoyed this experience because our 18 year old son Nate was on the trek with us. He even carried his mother across the Sweetwater River.
