Jubilee: More photo's

In March 2006 we again woke up to more photo's of our Jia Ling. This time the thrill was not only having updated photo's of her, but she is holding items from a package we had just sent about 10 days earlier! She is getting our packages and hopefully some of our LOVE through them. Here she is holding a stuffed kitty, with our family photo around the kitty's neck as a necklace on a ribbon.
We had thought we would name our new daugher Grace JiaLing Jewkes. Grace is after Grandma Grace Thornton, John's maternal grandmother. It is a beautiful name and fitting because we know it is only by the Grace of God that we are being blessed with this beautiful new daughter. We are now considering naming her Grace Rose Jewkes, calling her Gracie Rose. We received a booklet all about Grace, filled out by her foster mother, whom as has taken care of Grace since birth. The book about "Jia Ling" asked several questions about her likes, dislikes, ect. One question was, "My new family will call me. . ." and then a blank. The name Rose was written in the blank. We are assuming that the foster family is caller her that at this point. It is beautiful and we'd like to honor Grace's foster mom's wishes by using Rose as part of our daughters name.

Hi Heather-

I "know" you from the AdoptTaiwan group. Gracie is just beautiful. We are adopting twin daughters from St Lucy's, just waiting for news on when we can go. There are photos on my blog.
How old is Gracie? Gosh but she's sweet! My daughter Kyra is almost 2, and her middle name is Grace. we call her "Gracie" all the time.
You have a lovely family. I can't wait to hear you have recieved travel news!
