We are so happy for Nate! He ran his heart out and placed 3rd in the Utah State Cross Country Race!!! He ran the 3 mile race in 16 mins. 5 seconds. Mom, Dad, Noah, and Brig ran a lot of the course too. We ran from one side of SugarHouse Park to another several times to cheer our dear son/brother on! This photo of Nate appeared in the Deseret News the day after the race. At this point of the race (the 1 mile mark or so) Nate is in 1st place. By the 2 mile mark the 1st and 2nd place finishers had passed our Nate. But, Nate hung in there to keep a wonderful 3rd place finish.
