Christmas Jubilee 2006

We had a wonderful Christmas Day and even better Holiday Break, relaxing, sleeping, playing and eating! We really missed Nichole and Erik. They went to Virginia for Christmas. It seemed really odd not to have them here. They had a wonderful Christmas in Virginia. During the holidays, we even managed to take our family down to St. George overnight for a quick visit with Uncle Greg and Aunt Freddie. We had fun 4-Wheeling and riding a horse.

Brig, Isaac, Noah, and Gracie visiting with Santa at the Festival of Trees. Isaac and Gracie wanted nothing to do with Santa untill they saw he was passing out candy canes, then they thought he was o'kay! Still, Gracie would only get this close hanging tightly onto Noah's neck.

Christmas morning surprise! Nate, Brig, and Noah were happy with Santa bringing a new Basketball Standard. They haven't had one since our move to Utah in the summer. They spent half a day during Christmas Break putting this together with Dad.

Gracie LOVED Christmas morning. She caught on quick to the idea that some of those wrapped gifts under the tree were for her and that they had toys inside! Here she is holding a talking doll named Ling. It says several phrases in English and in Chinese.

Gracie and Isaac both got an educational toy, Leapster. They both love to play their learning games on them. Isaac got a Disney Cars game, Gracie a Dora game. Our hope was to keep them entertained in the car a bit more.

The only thing Isaac asked Santa for was a race car. Christmas morning he was totally entertained for quite some time with this race track set. Truth be told, all the males in the house were pretty entertained by this race track set! The cars "go" after you shake the car for several seconds. The cars and track make cool sounds too.
