Christmas 2008

Gracie with Santa,
4 1/2 years old,
3rd Christmas "Home"

What a fun Christmas for the Jewkes Family this year. We were excited to have Nate home with us, but sad to have Nichole and Erik away in Virginia. We knew they were having fun with the Fox family in Virgina, but we sure missed them. Isaac and Gracie were very excited and understood all about Christmas this year. Noah and Brig were just as excited to have Shin Hyung (Yu Jake) come to stay for 10 weeks again this winter, arriving on Dec. 20th, as they were of having Christmas come this year. Christmas really is all about family and the blessing of our family being together forever because of the Lord, Jesus Christ's gift to us, His Atonement. We love our Savior and are so grateful to have been blessed with a wonderful family.

Isaac, 5 years old

Brigham, 11 1/2 years old

Noah, 13 years old

Isaac, with his beanie had from Grandma K.
Doesn't he look like Dopey?

Knudsen Counsins, Beanie Hats from Grandma K.

Funny Cousins

Gracie's Christmas Gifts, she asked Santa for
a cash register

Gracie & Heather, apron's from Grandma K.

Isaac's Christmas gifts, he's had so much fun
with this "jammin" keyboard. He loves to record his own
voice on the little MP3 that comes with it.

Brig's Christmas gifts.

Yu Jake's Christmas gifts. He loved the RC car that
even goes on the walls!

Noah's Christmas. He was excited to get a drum set.
Mom & Dad are excited his room is all the way downstairs.

Nate's Christmas gifts. Nate said he feels like an "old" person.
All his gifts were "church" related. He got a gift card for a new suit
for his mission. He also got talks on CD about the scriptures and
commentaries on the Book of Mormon. (These are GREAT
commentaries if anyone is looking for more understanding of the
Book of Mormon.)

Brig was excited to get a new watch in his stocking.

Yu Jake is a very bright kid. He had this Knex set all but together
within a few days. It was really big and worked really well.

Noah opening one drum from his drum set.

Isaac opening his Kidijamz. It was a hit!

Tinkerbell is a favorite of Gracies.

The family gift was a Wii and several games. The boys were all very,
very happy! The Wii kept the boys entertained all during
the Christmas Vacation.

Brig & Noah first opening the Wii.

The last gift to open was the family gift, the Wii.

We enjoyed having Grandma J. with us on Christmas morning.
She loved watching the children open their gifts and show such excitement.
Nate opening his "missionary suit".
