Fun with the Fox's

Nichole and Erik's home.  It is a cute town house type 2 bedroom apartment.  We slept in Lucy's room and moved her crib in with her parents.   We were very comfortable.  Nichole has decorated her home so cute.  She and Erik did a lot of painting when then first moved into the apartment 3 years ago.   We enjoyed playing, baking and eating with the Fox's.   There is a large common grassy area just outside their back patio door.  The kids loved it when Erik was home and would play with them.  We also enjoyed 2 afternoons at their complex pool.

We went to Marmont Park in Richmond to see animals and beautiful gardens.

We stopped and had a snack in a shady spot.  This photo's shows the personality of both my daughter and my granddaughter.  Lucy may LOOK just like Erik, but she really is just like her mom when it comes to acting silly and having fun!  I loved getting to know Lucy better and seeing her darling personality.   She is a patient but fiesty child who smiles and laughs all the time!   Nichole and Lucy have so much fun together.   Lucy also loves her daddy.  She loves to play and read with him.

We taught Lucy a new word: SLURPEE!   Pronounced by Lucy "SIRRR PEEE"    Nichole bought one for herself and Lucy to share, but Lucy would have none of that!  Nichole had to go back into 7-11 to buy another one so she could have some.   Lucy LOVED it and drank nearly all of it!
 (Again, she is Nichole's daughter!)

Gracie and Isaac waiting at the New Port/Williamsburg Airport.  We were delayed 2 extra hours, barely making our connecting flight in Charlotte, NC, arriving home at midnight on June 20th.  It was good to be home, we missed John and the boys.  It was a great trip!   We got to spend time with so many people we love and admire!
