4 Generations of JewkesWe were fortunate to have the Fox's come for a 3 week visit. The first Sunday that they were in Utah they had Lucy blessed in our Ward. A baby blessing is a special event where the father who hold the priesthood gives the baby a name and a father's blessing in front of the congregation during our Sacrament Meeting. Erik gave an amazing blessing, he started with blessing Lucy with "faith in our Lord, Jesus Christ." At that point I remember thinking, well that is really all she needs! Little Lucy looked up at her daddy the entire blessing, gazing at him so contently. It was a special time. Here are some photo's of the celebration afterwards at our home.
