The week after we moved Isaac had his tonsils removed. This last winter Isaac had had 5 cases of Strep Throat. The Doctor had suggested in April to take out his tonsils, but we waited for school to get out for the summer and for our move to happen. Isaac was very brave. When the Doctor came to talk to me after the surgery he said that Isaac's tonsil were scared like an adults tonsils. Which means Isaac had been experiencing far mor sore throats than we even knew about. I'm glad we did this surgery and hopefully we will have a healthier winter!
Noah and Brig had their wisdom teeth removed the day after Isaac's surgery! Noah recently had his braces taken off and the Ortho. recommended getting his wisdom teeth removed. Brig is getting ready to start braces and he has an extra tooth that need to be removed. The Oral Surgeon said from the X-ray is showed that Brig's wisdom teeth were mature enough to be removed at the same time. So we decided while we were at it, why not have 3 boys down at once, popsicles and ice cream all around! The boys have ice packs on their cheeks in the photo. By the way, "hoodies" are great for holding ice packs in place!

The Saturday before Father's Day, our Primary held an activity where the children made ties for their dads for father's day. The Dad's wore them to church the next day and the children all beamed with pride. This is the tie Gracie made for John. Isaac missed the activity due to his recent surgery.
